Well, football is in full swing here in Texas and this is the banner I made for the team. I used a very thin vinyl and sewed pockets for the PVC poles. In the center I sewed long strips of Velcro so when the boys ran through it would give easily. I used acrylic paint for the lettering and the logo. The boys loved this and because it held up so well last year, we get to use it again this year. Go Horns!

Lego Party
I had so much fun with this birthday party. For the cake I bought the tin from the Lego store and had a blast decorating it. I actually made this cake 3 times to see which way would be the easiest to decorate it. Doing the dots worked the best to see the detail. Our guests said the dots looked like little Legos. That made me happy!
I like to surprise my boys with the way we dress for their parties. I made these shirts for Brad and I. You can download the iron ons from Legos website. You can only do Knights Kingdom, but he was thrilled that he was a knight and I was his princess.
Also, you will notice in the background, I made giant Legos out of 12 x 12 cardstock and decortated the house with a bunch of them. After the party I still was able to use the cardstock :)
Lego Invitation
Since the boys birthdays are coming around again, I need to start thinking of birthday party ideas. Brad is a Lego Maniac. This is the invitation I made last year. I wanted to post it for ideas. It is so easy to make. I took a standard hole punch and then put a pop dot behind the circle. It is time consuming, but that is why I have to start thinking about invitations early. There are 5 Lego bricks on the front because he turned 5.
We've Moved
Wow, has it really been 3 months since my last post? We have had quite the busy summer. We have moved and I looked all over the internet for ideas on a We've Moved card and this is what I came up with. I used the Doodlecharms cart for the mailbox. I took a road map and copied it onto cardstock, then I cut the layer from Doodlecharms. I had to make the mailbox come alive with my Peachy Keen stamps. I also used a pop dot to give dimension to the flag and then added a brad. I just think this is too cute. Since the mailbox had a natural cut for a letter, I put our new address on a little card and slid it in like mail. I was so pleased with the way they came out.
